Hi everyone,
Despite my partner and I doing everything possible to take care of ourselves during these times (social distancing, wearing masks, etc.) we unfortunately contracted COVID-19 and got our positive results back 1/1/2021
My partner made a quick recovery, but I’ve been having to fight for my life these pasts few months and move forward with all the lingering effects that this horrible virus has caused.

Before let me tell you a little bit about me, so you can get to know me better. My name is Claudia and my partner’s name is Jesus.  Before we contracted covid I was working as a special education assistant. The month I contracted Covid, I was supposed to start school for business administration and that unfortunately it didn’t happen due to this.

Jesus and I just recently bought a house in a beautiful neighborhood and it is our dream to start our family in it. Thinking of ways to bring an extra income into our new home I also bought a secondhand sewing machine and started making and selling masks and had also taken a side job as a food delivery driver.

Despite me running around chasing extra income, we were  just starting to enjoy life in our new home; then this horrible illness also known as Post Acute Sequelae of Covid changed everything.

I have since then lost my independence and my mom has had to come be my caretaker. I have been to different doctors and specialists, including the E. R. countless times and most recently, a hospital stay. I also developed something called MCAS which happens to give me adverse reactions to various foods and most medications so I can’t take anything to give me relief of symptoms.
I’M MENTALLY AND PHYSICAL EXHAUSTED!

My Faith is established in God, who is Great and Sovereign, but I also need YOUR help. The following describes some of the symptoms I have been experiencing:

-Burning head pains

-Head pressure

-Throat and sinus pains, along with inflammation not resolved by antibiotics

-Ear pains and pressure

-Burning chest pains and pressure

-Pressure behind my eyes

-Neuralgia/nerve pains

-Affected central nervous system

-Spine inflammation

-weakness in limbs

-Tremors

-Inflammation of veins

-Developed a ovarian cyst

-Abdominal inflammation

-Nose bleeds

-Occasional blurred vision

-Dizziness

-Adrenaline surges

-Tachycardia

-Insomnia

-Sleep disturbances

-Reactivated EBV

-Fatigue

-Rapid weight loss/malabsorption

-Painful Neuralgia

-Paradoxical effects to medications I’ve had no problems with in the past

-Histamine Intolerance

-Food and smell sensitivities

-Constant Dehydration

-Irregular menstrual cycles

-Abnormal anxiety (My body is stuck in fight or flight, which is common with this)

-and of course with how this has affected me, depression

There are people who have been dealing with the devastating effects of this virus for up to 12+ months and new symptoms constantly emerging without answers and I refuse to accept that as my reality and REFUSE to let my health continue to deteriorate. I am determined to get my life back and know that GOD will open doors!
I am at a VERY TIME SENSITIVE point of being unwell. We are looking at every doctor and every specialist we can think of. We are using funds on gas, supplements/medications that have to be compounded and are not covered by insurance due to my sensitivities. We are starting to travel out of town to find answers which includes travel expenses such as gas, hotels, and if we need to travel further (we are looking at which ever post covid clinic responds to our supplications first) would mean we need to cover airfares as well. Due to many of these places being out of town, they are usually out of network providers which unfortunately insurancewon’t cover on top of all other costs. This has so far been a very expensive journey.

So I ask that if you have it in you heart to please help me get back to the person I once was, your donation will make a difference so that I can continue working and pursue the dreams and goals I had alongside my partner. Thanks infinity for making the difference in my life!
