La Paloma Restaurant is a small hidden treasure, found in the center of the Solomon, Arizona community. Voted as one of Arizona's most successful small business in 2017; La Paloma, a Salsa Trail original, sets trends and reinvents the rich Mexican food traditions of the Gila Valley with fresh and delicious entrees daily. For over 40 years, La Paloma Restaurant has continued to serve delicious Sonoran-style Mexican food throughout the Southeast part of Arizona. Once a local watering hole, we are now a dining destination for authentic Mexican cuisine, having earned the love and touched the hearts of so many who have tasted our food. The owner, Nicholas Anthony Nordgran-Tellez, has spent many years pouring his heart and soul into the build up of his beloved restaurant, having spent many days working from morning till night, keeping his restaurant open and welcoming to all that enter the doors. Having started washing dishes as a kid, Nicholas poured his life into the food business. Throughout the years he has managed many different restaurants, helping them to strive and grow. Eventually he found his way back to Solomon and bought the Mexican restaurant he promised he would, La Paloma. After having spent much of his life working toward his goal of owning this restaurant, having poured every penny and drop of sweat to keep the business thriving, it is a shame to see it fall in a time of crisis as the world battles Covid-19 (The Corona Virus). We understand that this is a time for struggle for everyone, and we hope that everyone is keeping themselves safe, and washing their hands. We hope that you find it in your heart to help others, and in turn help this restaurant survive this crisis intact. All donations will be used for payroll and cost of goods, making sure that we have the food and helping hands at the ready upon reopening (upon June 1st). We are going to continue accepting donations, because we are still in extreme need of assistance (for we have been unable to receive any federal assistance as of yet).
