I’m Gurninder Singh Dhaliwal, uncle of 33-year-old Parmvir Singh, who was shot dead in a cold-blooded manner at a convenience store in Tupelo, Mississippi, on September 11. I’m shaken and heartbroken at my beloved nephew’s murder. Coming from a farming family, Parmvir went to the US only last year, after taking loans, to be able to pay off family debts with the dream of a better future. But in this untimely and unbearable loss, I feel the agony of the old parents he leaves behind, who’ve lost their only son. I’m raising funds to pay for the cost of shipping his body back home to his loved ones in Punjab for cremation and the rest to pay off the loans his family's debts. My humble appeal to everyone is to come together to help the family in their darkest hour.
