Ventilators, a breath of hope

Donation protected
If the health of one of your loved ones was at risk, what is the price you would be willing to pay to restore their health? That's the question we had to answer to ourselves when COVID19 affected some of our friends and family.

In order to help others that could be in the same situation, we decided to take immediate action and built non-invasive ventilators in order to help in the treatment of patients with COVID-19 or respiratory insufficiency.

We are fundraising so you can help us provide ventilators and HOPE to those patients with COVID-19 around the world.

We will spend the raised funds in these main goals:

1.  Controlled certification trials and testing for the ventilator so it can be approved for human use.
2. Building a pilot station for mass production of the ventilator.
3.  Organize, translate, and publish all the documentation regarding this project in the following languages: English, German, French, Italian, and Spanish.

Who we are?

We are a team of experts in different fields of knowledge, including Engineering (Electronics, Biomedical, Software, Mechanical), Health (Pneumology, Veterinary, and Internal Medicine), and Law (Intelectual Property, Regulations, ICT).

The lead-team working in this project is located in Mexico City, Mexico (PindNET R&D), with the help and revision of fellows and colleagues from  LA and Michigan, US; Stuttgart, Germany, London, UK; and Pune, India.

At PindNET R&D,  we help you turn your technological ideas into reality.

We offer, as a service:  Research, Development, and Innovation of new technologies based on Hardware and Software.

We serve different industries. Our services include the manufacturing of prototypes for the health & wellness, that’s why we have focused on creating, from scratch, open-source ventilators against COVID-19.

What is a ventilator?

Ventilators are sophisticated pumps that control the oxygen and airflow from the patient’s lungs, supporting them while they cannot do their work. But they are very difficult to design because they have to operate in an extremely reliable way while in a hazardous environment.

We are happy to announce that our prototype performed as expected under a wide variety of simulated-patient conditions. We were very pleased with the results of our simulation tests. The PindNET R&D team is confident that our ventilator will be able to safely ventilate patients suffering from Covid-19 throughout the world. Our design is in compliance with the FDA and WHO regulations for medical devices of its kind.
