Help me help people fighting COVID-19 in my hometown Pacasmayo!
Pacasmayo is a fishing village and consistent surf break in the northwest, a very popular surfing location for locals and international surfers. Pacasmayo used to host big national and international water sports competitions including Windsurfing and kitesurfing. Due to the pandemic, our town is struggling to keep up with the job loss and the pressure in the medical system. We need financial assistance to give our population affected by COVID-19 the best possible chance to recover and regain the privilege to breathe. The local urgent care was able to increase the amount of hospital beds. However, we still need Oxygen tanks and PPE. A group of good neighbors and the local Church stablished The "Respira Pacasmayo" committee to assist and find resources. I'm extending this opportunity for you to help. On August 4 2020, the Respira Pacasmayo team delivered 10 6m3 oxygen tanks to Pacasmayo's hospital.
