Research in Sustainable Agriculture Automation
Donation protected
Twisted Fields is a 127-acre research farm on the California coast dedicated to the advancement of automation in agriculture to allow humanity to farm sustainably—as nature intended—while still meeting the demands of modern agriculture. We do not use pesticides, GMOs, or other artificial agents on our crops.
We believe in maintaining responsible stewardship over the land. We work with the local RCD to conserve water and energy usage, reduce carbon emissions and soil degradation, and maintain our soil health. We operate on a closed-loop, bio-diverse system using rotational grazing and regenerative soil practices.
Through our dedication to regenerative agriculture, donations from super people and organizations, and exceptional engineers, we've open-sourced our code to allow for equitable and environmentally friendly solutions, giving small farmers a fighting chance in an industry full of monopolies and monocultures.
