My5tery Music's Rescue the Arts™ Initiative

Ok, so let me tell you about our initiative:

For almost a decade, My5tery Music™ has partnered with local school districts, including...

• Toledo Public
• Toledo Diocese
• And several Toledo charter schools
 
...targeting at-risk youth, grades 3-12, and enhancing character, social, and educational success via our 5 Musical My5teries™ performing arts programs.

Unfortunately, that time is at risk of coming to an end.


As you may know, when students participate in arts classes, it enhances their character and they almost always perform much better academically.

However, due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the elective portions of the school budgets (i.e. dance classes, band, choir, theater, etc.) have been absolutely decimated, a decision that could have dire developmental consequences for students.
 
Think About This:

How much different would our world be without the likes of dancing barrier-breaker Misty Copeland or Oscar®-winning acting juggernaut Denzel Washington?


Without these talent-revealing, nurturing arts programs, we might not have had John Williams, arguably the greatest movie score composer to ever live, to write such scores as...
 
• E.T.
• Star Wars
• Jaws
• Superman
• Harry Potter
• Jurassic Park
 
...the movie soundtracks of our lives!

So, to combat this devastating developmental decision, we've launched our Rescue the Arts™ Initiative, a project focused on bringing people and organizations together within the community to help fund these much-needed performing arts programs for at-risk youths.


Each school's program costs $12,000, so we are looking to start off by raising enough money via your generous sponsorships to initially fund five schools or My5tery Music™ exclusive groups for the upcoming fiscal school year, and as many schools/groups as possible thereafter.

And your sponsorship donations will help pay for program equipment, instruments, payroll for employees and facilitators, evaluations, performances, and more for an entire fiscal school year for one or more lucky groups of students per school or My5tery Music™ exclusive group.

This way, no struggling parents or guardians will have to pay for our programs out of their pockets!


So, with our Rescue the Arts™ Initiative, we, as a performing arts organization and through the monetary generosity of sponsors like you, will be able to continue to host our Standard On-Site Program...

...and our all-new Virtual Performing Arts Platform modules (when needed) for either city schools or our exclusive groups, and give our children the pinned-up educational energy outlet they so desperately need!
