Reproductive Rights & Healthcare Billboards!

St Paul, MN— MN Billboard Project will host their 2022 Billboard Design Project on Facebook and Instagram on May 20, 2022, featuring designs by Destiny Davison, Madelinekarita Fleming, stace of spades, KT Lindemann, and Stephanie Wisdom. Artists have chosen topics including reproductive justice, miscarriage awareness, pro-choice, and inclusive sex education.

Event Details: With the recent leak of Supreme Court documents indicating the possibility of overturning Roe V Wade, MN Billboard Project has asked 5 local Minnesota artists to create digital art designs on the topics of reproductive rights and healthcare. The designs will be launched on Facebook and Instagram , and the public may vote on which designs they like best by liking or reacting to the images between May 20-June 10, 2022. Each reaction counts as a vote and totals will be added to the results of an intentionally diverse and equitable executive panel. The top two designs will be displayed on billboards in St Paul, MN later this summer in close proximity of and during the Minnesota State Fair.

Fundraising and Merchandise: This event is fully funded by donations and fundraising. Supporters can donate or purchase items from our fundraising store , which has merchandise created by this year’s artists. All proceeds support MN Billboard Project, including the local artists. In the event more funds are raised than needed, we also donate a portion of proceeds to local Minnesota abortion service providers and LGBTQIA+ supporting reproductive health clinics.
