Replacing Stolen Camera Equipment

Aloha Earth family, as I was driving down the road to Hana in Maui the other night a man in a truck confronted me and this exchanged was escalated quickly and violently.
A machete was brandished and the man reached into my vehicle and took my cell phone and camera. My throat had already been cut a moment before from the man swinging a wooden stick at me backed up against my vehicle.
I was able to follow the man to the point of being able to obtain the license plate of the truck. While following the truck he tried to reverse into me and ram me off the road many a time and eventually I felt powerless trying to retrieve anything and sped around them in order to find a way to contact the police.
With the amount of information that has been provided the police seem quite hopeful about tracking down the particular individual that had attacked me. That particular truck has been somewhat known around the area for these types of interactions and I hope that if he is able to face consequences for then this interaction may not have taken place in vain. My belongings on the other hand is another story of significantly less hope- this GoFundMe is intended to replace my camera equipment as it's my primary life source in this world, financially at the very least.
I would like to set up reimbursements on my part through art prints, photoshoots, or even wallpaper packs for your phone or desktop background but right now this is all still very much to internally process, I hope that's understandable.
