Replacement Lab Computer

Hi there! I'm ZAdamMac, the lead (okay, okay, only) developer for Kensho Security Labs. We make privacy- and safety-focused software for typical computer users, most primarily a secure backup solution known as Tapestry, along with a few other security related tools and games. Because I believe that secure data backup should be the right of every user, I make most of my software freely available.

Recently, I experienced a chain of hardware failures that have destroyed the long-term reliability of the computer I do my development work on, described here. Accordingly, I'm looking for help replacing this machine with a similar workstation up to the tasks required of my current development track; code manipulation, some light C compilation, and hardware virtualisation to support multi-platform testing.

Donations to this campaign will go to the computer itself, not any peripheral or additional hardware, which I intend to supply myself from equipment I already have. It's the computer I have that's failed, not the monitor or keyboard  what-have-you.
