Replace stolen Adventure Training Equipment
On Sunday 12th January 2020, 275 Nantyglo& Blaina Air Training Corps (charity no. T54/95), had 10 mountain bikes stolen from our Cadets, after 2 people broke through our fence and forced entry into our containers. 3 of the bikes have fortunately since been recovered.
The motto of the Corps is “Venture Adventure” and as a Squadron we encourage our Cadets to take part in as much Adventure Training as possible. Adventure Training promotes physical and mental wellbeing as well as bolstering teamwork skills and creating a sense of achievement.
Our Squadron motto is “All Together” and Adventure Training activities reinforce this. Sadly, due to the theft of the bikes, this particular opportunity has now been removed from our Cadets.
We would like to raise enough money to replace the stolen bikes and to add a monitored alarm system to our security.
Thank you.
