Repatriation of George back to Liverpool

Hi my name is Kirsty and I’m raising funds to help towards the repatriation of our friend and neighbour George from the Isle of Wight and get him back home here in Liverpool.

On Sunday 11th August while holidaying on the island with his beloved wife Deverine and 2 grandsons Leo and Jack,

George suddenly took ill while playing with his grandkids in sea , the boys managed to get him back to safety before tragically he collapsed.

efforts were made to help George but sadly he passed away.

This is a massive shock to all his friends and family , and if we can take the pressure off a little with helping toward the cost of bringing him home and even something towards the funeral I’m sure it would bring comfort to Deverine and family.

Anyone who knows George knows how much his dog Mya meant to him too , Mya was also present on this holiday and emergency services allowed Mya in the back of the ambulance to see him for one last time

The children at such young ages have witnessed such tragic events and any money over would go towards them for a day out somewhere nice.
