Repairing My Violin
Donation protected
Hi there. I've had and played my violin since 6th grade and I'm now a senior in high school. It's been a one of the most precious and important things to me. It's gotten me through some of the most difficult times in my life and given me much happiness during those times. One day, about a month ago I was getting ready to practice my music for orchestra and got up to get my music binder. When I went to get up and grab it, I tripped and landed on my violin while it was in it's case. It was and still is devastating to see my violin so broken and I don't think Ive cried harder this year than when that happened.
While it'd be cheaper to buy a new one, I have too many memories with this violin, too many hours of work, frustration, relief, and joy invested into this instrument. Even if it doesn't sound exactly the same as it did before the accident, it'd mean the world to me to get it fixed and to play it once again.
My mom has agreed to pay for half, but Im responsible for the other half of the payment.
And while I'll also be working hard at my job to raise as much money as I can for my repairs, I'd be endlessly grateful for any and all donations, no matter how small. Thank you so much and I hope you all have a great day.
