Hi my name is Maryann . I am the wife of Niveo LaMagra. Please forgive me, I have never done anything like this.
My husband was diagnosed with COPD and emphysema. He was given five years. It is now 4 1/2.
With my husband getting worse. Four years have passed, I fear that I will lose him. I researched and found that a stem cell treatment may be able to repair his lungs.
To our surprise they do not except insurance. Even if they did Medicare won’t pay for it. So, I am trying to raise $15,000.00 , so he can have this procedure done.
We are both disabled and live on a fixed income. We are hoping to raise the $15,000.00 before the end of spring . For those of you who think they cannot donate, please keep in mind that every dollar is one dollar closer to us reaching our goal.
That means that 4 quarter ($0.25) donations add up to one dollar. Every little bit adds up to bigger bits and sooner than you might think our goal is achieved with people just adding a bit of their spare change
