Rent while I fight cancer

My ear nose and throat surgeon ignored and minimized my complaints for 6 mos after a septoplasty, never scoped me before or after surgery or when I complained of throat pain ,trouble swallowing, ear pain and fatigue, he just kept telling me I didn't heal yet and it takes a year (which is a lie). I finally got to an ear nose and throat surgeon who cares to get it right, he scoped me found the tumor immediately. By the time I found out my first ent was full of beans, and got the right help my problem grew to stage 4 cancerous throat tumor with bi- lateral lymphnode involvement. My Dr says I won't be able to work for about 6 mos once I start treatment and I believe him because for months I have only been able to work half my hours at work because of the fatigue, I burned through all my payed time off so I can imagine just how wrecked I will be during treatment. If my first ent cared he would have scoped me and gave me 6mos to a year head start on the battle with cancer, which could have meant the difference between fighting stage 2 rather than stage 4 and maybe a possiblity of working during less intense treatment. I'm starting with months of half paychecks so I'm already behind on bills soon I won't have paychecks at all to pay rent.
