Renovate Education

Hi everyone! My name is Omar Mbodj and I along with my brother Ali Mbodj would like to help elementary students from our village in Senegal, West Africa to get a promising start. They are studying under dilapidated conditions with no desks, electricity or books. With your help, we can furnish a few classrooms with necessities such as desks, chairs, books, and supplies.  The village in Senegal where the school is located is called Mbodjene, home of the Walo -Walo people and Thiédo Warriors who courageously defeated colonial oppression and takeover of their land. This is the village of my forefathers. My goals will be to renovate the broken floors and walls; purchase desks and chairs to accommodate all the students; install two restrooms, a small computer lab, library, solar panels, and an enclosed playground that is safe for kids to perform recreational activities and engage in sports.
