Reno Or Bust (To Finish CD)

Were you going to buy me a Christmas/Holiday present? Dont. Were you going to buy me one of my signature iced venti skinny vanilla lattes? Don't. Were you even going to mail me a fancy card? Don't.
Whatever $5, $10, $15, $20 present or trinket you might have intended - I don't need that. What I need is that same amount from about 75 people. Together, the gift you will give me is one last round-trip flight to Reno to finish the remaining details of my solo CD (which wraps this month) in person.
Why the desperation? A few things: The project has been delayed a couple months due to a lot of painful personal events in my and the lives of my recording partners. Next: The only time I can fly out there is the only time I have away from my demanding special education job here at home: Christmas Break. So, you can guess the other issue: The flights are incredibly expensive that time of year, and when I decided this was going to have to happen ... I had to book it. So, I've put my financial neck out on the line. I was able to knock it down substantially with jumpers from smaller airports and vouchers from delayed/missed connections from my previous recording trips to Reno. What remains is a little less than $800.
My fundraiser that began this project had about 130 backers, who helped me get a few thousand dollars shy of my original goal. Now, at the end of the project, I'm REALLY feeling the pinch of that missing money. The boys in Reno have helped me cut costs on this in every way possible - working longer hours than I ever could have paid them for and at a pittance - making it even cheaper for me to have made the record there than here in a studio at home.
I hate to ask for anything more. So, if you had NOT intended to give me a present, let me give YOU one. If you can throw even as little as $5 into this, I'll e-mail you a little EP of extra special me recordings (maybe some holiday tunes, maybe a song I write ESPECIALLY for this, maybe an early release of the single from the new CD). And if you didn't contrinute to the original CD fundraiser, ANY contribution here will now grant you access to the 20+ downloads available at the All Access portion of my website.
I frankly could use more than what I'm asking for, but it's the holidays and everyone has expenses. This is what I NEED. If I exceed the funding here, every dollar will go back into the CD project, which is about to wrap tracking and go to mix/master (something I'm currently funding via credit) as quickly as we can finish the songs this month.
We are finishing this thing. We are taking back this stupid, mercilous year.
