Remembering the life of Renny Baney

Dear friends, family, and members of the GoFundMe community,

On the night of Saturday, early morning of Sunday, September 1st and 2nd,  we suffered a great sadness and shock to learn that Renny Baney, my brother-in-law, had his life unexpectantly taken away from him in a tragic and fatal car crash. The driver of their vehicle, Tony DiGuardi, is still in critical condition. Our thoughts and prayers, also, go out to his family.

Renny was born March 11, 1977 and had reached the young age of 41 at the time of his passing. Renny is survived by his wife and my sister, Deborah Baney, as well as his children Kyla Baney, Douglas Baney, and Steven Baney and his stepdaughter, Serenity Packer.

Renny's legacy is a beautiful family, a lifetime’s worth of friendships, and memories in the hearts of everyone whose lives he touched.

The pain and shock of this tragedy is devastating for all of us and no one can really wrap their minds around how this could be. We just mourned the loss of Robert Webster, my sister Julie's companion, only two months ago and now this is another tragedy our family must endure.

Unfortunately, at the time of his death, my sister's family did not have Life Insurance for Renny and now have to incur the cost of paying for funeral arrangements in full.

We ask for any support that can be provided in this time of need. The simple act of just sharing this fundraiser can help us reach our goal. If you give, please give knowing that you're helping the lives of my sister and his family and please do not to give more than you can afford. We don't want to cause anyone an undue burden.

At this time, we do not have a date planned yet for when the funeral will be. We will be making regular daily or weekly updates when we have more information to give.
