Remembering Joe Giedosh
Our community has suffered a great loss. Our friend and neighbor Joe Giedosh died at his workplace yesterday in a tragic accident. Sadly we are now called upon to lay our friend and brother to rest. We are asking for the community's help with his final expenses.
Please read our tribute to Joe and prayerfully consider helping out. Any amount would be greatly appreciated. This man did so much for so many people with no accolades. Let's honor his memory by providing for his funeral expenses.
Joe would do anything for anybody. This man would give you his last penny. He was humble and loved people, young and old, people of all color, and background. Joe was our co-laborer for the Kingdom of God. He served the Friends Can Make It Happen (FCMIH) ministry for many years, sharing his gifts of hard work and commitment. He served from Hazleton to Williamsport, from Wilkes-Barre to Philadelphia, and to North Carolina during the aftermath of Hurricane Florence. Joe always put others before himself. He had a servant's heart and was the backbone for the FCMIH ministry's beginnings in the Hazleton area.
We thank the Lord for Joe's life. Blessed be Your Name Lord. You give and You take away. Blessed be your Holy Name. We remember Joe today with this Scripture verse:
Do nothing from selfish ambition or vain conceit, but in humility count others more significant than yourselves. Let each of you look not only to his own interests, but also to the interests of others. Have this mind among yourselves, which is yours in Christ Jesus. Philippians 2:3-5.
