Remembering Emily Corona

Emily Corona passed away suddenly and unexpectedly on July 9th, 2020. She and a friend were spending time together at Emily's home and left to pick up something to eat. They were on their way home when they were in a tragic car accident that unfortunately took Emily's life. She was only 16 years old, and will be greatly missed by her family and friends. She was kind, funny, exuberant, and was loved by everyone who had the honor of knowing her. 

Emily was a rising Junior at Sweetwater High School, where she was a member of the soccer team. There are no adequate words to describe the person Emily was and how tragic her loss is. She had the most contagious smile and laugh, and was kind to everyone she met. She always had a positive attitude and outlook on life. She was a beloved daughter, a loving sister, and a loyal teammate and friend. To know Emily was to love her, as she greeted everyone she met with her beautiful smile and friendly personality. She was always making others laugh and was truly a joy to be around. 

We would like to support Emily's family during this difficult time. The loss of Emily was tragic and unexpected and comes at a time of financial stress and uncertainty for many.
