Remembering Brooke - Inspiring Them

Hey there, we are a group of friends, family and strangers united by this devastating thing. Cancer. Too many of us know this indescribable feeling, this life grasping, this well, bastard.

The Brooke Bolley Scholarship Fund was created to honor her, to find a way to give her the space to continue to inspire others, to say out loud that we won’t just take it that easy. We won’t allow cancer to cut lives so short.

On Earth Day 13 years ago we joined together as a community to plant her tree at our high school, Crestwood. We heard love and joy and sadness. We formed an immediate bond and haven’t looked back. That tree planting ceremony launched the scholarship fund to annually award one senior a gift from Brooke. This sum collected because of her provides financial support to those students seeking a path towards learning how to erode cancer, in the spirit of service.

The applications are overwhelming and motivating and inspiring. The need is daunting. So here is a space we know so many have been looking for to provide an ease to make a donation. The goal lofty, but sustainably thoughtful. We thank you for your contribution and will continue to share updates from past students and stories of how a group of strangers joined together to save lives.
