On February 6th, we suddenly and tragically lost an amazing 27 year-old man, Benshan Robinson. He is survived by his mother, LaShanna Robinson, his father, Bernard Boykin, and his 3 brothers, Shaquille, Jacob, and Isaiah Robinson in San Diego as well as a sister, and 3 brothers in Tennessee. Benshan also has a 10 year-old daughter in San Diego. He was also known as “Benny” in the community. Attending both Mt. Carmel High School and Abraxas, he was loved by so many. He always had a contagious smile and energy. He had a close relationship with God, enjoyed rapping, and creating music. He was so talented! Benshan has family roots in San Diego, CA., Kansas, and Tennessee. He was very passionate about helping others, working with children, and was beginning enter in the medical field. Benny and his mother, LaShanna, both were invested in the non-profit, R3SC, which provided struggling community members with basic essential resources and services. His legacy and wish to help others in need, especially children, will live on forever. Rest easy Benny️
