Remembering Andy Schanding

On October 23, 2018 Andy Schanding, a member of Teamsters Local #651 and a Plant Mechanic at United Parcel Service in Lexington, KY, went to work the same as any other day.  However, on this day the unthinkable happened.  While working on the new conveyor system he was fatally injured.  He leaves behind a wife of 21 years and two children.  You can read the full story in the Lexington Herald Leader .  No one should ever lose their life in the workplace.  Take a moment to show your support and solidarity to Andy's family.  They have an incredibly long and difficult journey ahead of them.  United we can make a difference.
