Ian Jewell Memorial Fund

Thank you all so much for your generosity. This effort was begun to pay tribute to a young man who left us tragically and to raise funds to celebrate his memory. We are overwhelmed by the warmth and outreach of the community.  We would also like to thank those who were able to participate in the memorial last Sunday. Your presence and kind words were a great comfort to Ian’s family and friends.

In accordance with the family’s wishes, we will be using the funds raised here to start a scholarship in Ian’s memory. We are working with staff at Manchester Memorial High School to arrange the details of the selection criteria and disbursement process. Our current plan is to divide these funds into three awards for graduating Memorial Seniors, one for each of the school years ending in 2018, 2019 & 2020.
