Rebuilding After Irma: Chef J.R.

JR Nobles has called the beautiful island of Jost Van Dyke in the British Virgin Islands his home for the past 5 years. He's an executive chef and thrived on the energy and environment of the islands.

On Septemeber 6th, he lost everything including his house and belongings to Irma which hit his home as a Category 5 hurricane.

After days of being stunned and surviving with no food and water, he made it to Puerto Rico where he has decided to stay. He will now begin rebuilding his life.

We are hoping to help JR get back on his feet. We sincerely appreciate anything you can do to help him move forward from this tragedy.

I'm Mara Cruz from Puerto Rico and thank you for taking the time to share and read JR's story. JR is my boyfriend and has recently lost everything due to Hurricane Irma. All donations received will go directly to pay for him to secure housing, purchase essentials including toiletries, clothing, etc. Also, the funds will help him buy new chef knives - since all were lost in the storm.
