Relocated for safety

My 2 boys and I were relocated to a new city, in a new province, and currently in a woman's shelter until we can get into a new place here.  Unfortunately we had very little time to pack anything, and cannot afford to get it shipped out here.  This was all due to living in low income housing surrounded by addicts, and after a couple shootings in our complex.  I stood up for the children that got shot at. And in turn the eyes got pointed in our direction and were told from police and the ministry to pack a couple bags and flee to a safe location.  Well 3 days later we flew out of the province.  Thank you to the ministry. Our family pets (2 cats) are currently in our old home getting taken care of my a close friend, and then they will go for respite at the spca until I can get them out here.   We will be starting over fresh here.   I am on EI but unfortunately that is not enough to cover 1st months rent and security deposit.    My boys are 8 and 12 yrs old and desperately need clothes as well as so much more,  we will need to build us up from nothing. I am planning on getting a job, but unfortunately with this lockdown and living in a shelter, it stops me from looking until the 12th of January.

  Our Christmas is pretty much not going to happen this year, but we are safe, and we have each other ♡   

We are all struggling to get through this with mental health, my youngest is autistic and my oldest is having some pretty severe panic attacks, which have brought us to the hospital.
