Relief-work trip to Morón, Cuba

Most of you already know this about me that I was born in Morón, Cuba and still have family and friends there.  I travel back to Cuba every few years to bring some funds, used running shoes, and any running wear I gather throughout the years from events and races I work at.  

 Overnight Hurrican Irma made land fall on the Keys just North/Northwest of the mainland and just 38 NW of Morón, Cuba.  Based on the devastating path that Hurrican Irma has left in previous islands in the Carribean we expect similar damages in my home town. 

I would like to start planning my trip to go back as soon as possible to help relief efforts and bring any necessities my family, friends, neighbors, locals and deserted pets need. Not only that but the trips focus is to help out in any way possible to rebuild housing and clean-up effort. I already have my Cuban passport so I only need to purchase my airfare and total the poundage I will gather and be taking there. 

The $12,500 will help me purchase a ticket, pay for basic travel requirements to get into Cuba, buy toiletries and personal hygiene items, and basic day to day needs not easily accessible to most Cuban citizens.
