Relief for Victims of Recent Earthquake in Haiti
On August 14, 2021 the country of Haiti experienced an earthquake of 7.2 magnitude, that has an ever-growing death toll leaving many of its civilians devastated. As result to this unexpected natural disaster, over 12,268 Haitian residents have been injured, while as many as 53,000 homes have been destroyed. We are raising funds to send to Partners in Health (PIH), or Zanmi Lasante, the largest non-governmental healthcare provider in Haiti. PIH focuses its resources on deploying staff and supplies, and providing trauma and emergency care, during this difficult time.
The EQA Roots and Shoots Youth Leadership Brigade, a leadership and service program for teens and tweens, is asking you to DONATE NOW to provide aid and comfort to those in Haiti who are in need of medical care due to their most recent earthquake.
