Relief for Robin (and family)
Great Sunday! I'm Kellye Conley Ty's cousin and God spoke to me clearly as I was thinking and praying for Robin and Ty to start a "Go Fund Me". Everyone who knows them has probably at one time or another over the last year thought....."God, are you serious? Another episode?" Our hearts break for them as we continue to hear and stay updated on Robin's health situation. As we know, our prayers for healing and medical answers are the most important thing we can give this family. But from my own personal experience of having one child going through cancer and one having 5 surgeries at the same time, I understand how overwhelming medical bills and travel expenses can become. At least mine were somewhat planned out. With Robin and Ty, the expenses may come in a moments notice. Not to mention, the number of work days that have been missed. There's so much financial burden that can come with a major illness.
All of just wish they could get answers, healing and move on with life without what I'm sure consumes their minds 24/7. Although we have faith and we know God has got this and he clearly shows us time and time again, it still never leaves your mind. I'm not sure we get complete rest until it comes to pass.
Those who know this family so well know they would never ask for what we might call "a hand out" or money. But here's what I know....God spoke to me very clearly to set up a "go fund me" for $5,000 (knowing way more will come in) to show our love and support to this beautiful, faith filled family. For those who have watched their story and wished we could do something, here's our opportunity to help. With the giving of family and friends from all over giving $5, $10, $15, $50, $100 or more it will add up so quickly. Once the funds have been raised, a prepaid visa card will be given to the family for medical and travel expenses.
We are so thankful for God's hand on Robin as she has went through....40 ER visits for reactions, 6 fly outs, 5 intubations, multiple ambulance trips, 6 hospital stays totaling close to 40 days, emergency surgery in November, a specialty shot that as of right the insurance is denying again that is $4,000 per shot. Not all doctor bills are in to date but as of right now they total $12,000. Had they not selected a special flight insurance a few years back just the flights alone totaled over $400,000. THAT'S GOD!!!! Who knew they would that.
Again and most importantly, PRAISE JESUS his hand is on Robin every day and every episode as we continue to pray for this season TO BE OVER!!
