Relief for Black Creatives

We are Charlie B. And Keisha Marie
Founders of @themuseumforblackgirls and @blackcreativesweekend.
We created  these spaces because we
recognized the void in representation of Black and POC creatives. We realized
there was a need to create a digital
platform and carve out physical spaces
to celebrate Black creativity.

We also know now more than ever we
need to find ways to
empower and support these same artists that are working to build sustainable
businesses. Between the Pandemic and
the  current events black owned
businesses and artists have took a huge
loss. 

We created the relief for Black Creatives fund to provide micro grants to artists to amplify their art and voices during this
time.  We are counting on community support whether that’s donating, sharing, or generally raising awareness about the
fund. Our goal is to help as many
creatives as possible.
