Our boy was diagnosed with Wiskott Aldrich Syndrome December 2017, the day after he turned 1. That day changed our lives forever and that feeling can never be forgotten. This means that Reg needs a bone marrow transplant and without it he isn’t likely to live beyond his teens. Reggie has low platelets and his immune system doesn’t work how it should, meaning he gets numerous infections.

Reggie is now waiting for a bone marrow transplant but before the transplant he will require chemo to condition his body. All this treatment will take place in Great Ormond Street which is at least 2 hours away from home. Reg is likely to be in hospital for around 3 months then once discharged he will be at home in isolation.
Our boy is going to need his mummy and daddy and so will his brothers. We have always been working parents so our boys can have everything they need. The likelihood is that we will struggle while not being able to work and travelling from home to hospital and one of us living there with Reg for 3 months.
Unfortunately to make our lives more manageable while Reg is having treatment we will both be having to take extensive time off work which is unpaid. The donations will be able to ensure that one of us will always be with Reg and cover the living and traveling costs while also ensuring our boys at home can be supported. We were hesitant to set up a gofundme page but we need to be there for our boys and since Reg has been unwell people have been so supportive.

Reg is a fighter but he needs his mummy and daddy with him to be able to knock out this Wiskott Aldrich Syndrome. Please help Reg smash this!!
