Reggie gets to take an Honor Flight

This guy, what can I say except that he's my favorite?!? If you're reading this, then the chances are that you already know this guy and his heart of gold. He gets to share it with some new strangers, because Reggie has been given an outstanding opportunity to be a part of Honor Flight. For those of you who have not heard of this amazing program, briefly it is an organization/charity that takes WWII or Korean War Veterans on a trip to Washington D.C. to see the various memorials that are to honor them and their fellow comrades. Reggie has been chosen to go as a guardian. All these fine veterans need an escort to help them along the trip, some need physical aid, and some just are grateful for the company. The second Reggie heard about this program, he wanted nothing more than to be given the opportunity to be someone's guardian for a trip. So here he is, approved to go. 

As some of you may know, Reggie is currently looking for a new career. We recently decided keeping him closer to home is more the path we would like our lives to take.  So while normally our jobs would afford us to indulge in this opportunity, we are hoping we might have some friends and family that would like to help Reggie make this journey in a time when extra funds aren't available.  

Reggie is so excited to be given the chance to do this. His eyes light up like a kid at Christmas with ideas about how he can make this already amazing trip even better. So I want to take this opportunity to thank all of you that want to help me send Reggie on this trip, words of encouragement, happy thoughts and monetary donations, we will humbly accept. Thank you!!!
