This campaign has been created to support a friend of over 30 years who was a victim of a tragic shooting where a number of people were injured and two lives were lost. Fortunately the injuries Reggie suffered were not fatal and he is on the road to recovery. That said, the road to recovery will be long; both physically and mentally and I don't feel any of us can fully understand the level of trauma one would suffer after an event such as this. Reggie is and always has been a kind soul volunteering his time and resources, selflessly, stepping in to help others. He is hard working; often working two jobs to provide for his family. Yet, he always found the the time to coach youth sports, mentor, lend a hand up to others in times of need and has been a present, loving, devoted, father. Reggie is a prideful man who initially resisted the offer for us to create this campaign as he has never been one to play "victim" or felt entitled to anything that he has not worked hard to obtain. If we can come together as one, UNITE, and give what we can to help with increasing medical bills and lost wages due to the recovery process we can show how random acts of kindness do still exist.
