Winter Appeal
Donation protected
December 2018 Winter Appeal for refugees in Calais and Dunkirk.
Over 2000 refugees including men, women and children already face harsh conditions whereby they are forced to live rough and exposed to the elements. As the temperature begins to drop they anticipate how they will survive the extremes of winter. Although we cannot remove them from their plight at least we can help alleviate some of their hardships. Our convoy team will head out on 8th December to take supplies over to France
Refugee Community Kitchen is an entirely volunteer-run and donation-based organisation serving nourishing food to displaced people in the UK and northern France. To date over 2 million hot meals have been provided since December 2015, catering for 2,000 refugees a day in northern France.
The Refugee Women’s Centre is committed to supporting women, families and minors in and around Grande Synthe, Dunkirk and Calais. RWC assists with the specific needs of women, children and vulnerable people, of all ages and nationalities, who have left their homes and loved ones due to war, conflict and persecution.
