Pilar fue diagnosticada con ARTROSIS SEVERA COXO-FEMORAL DERECHA, ACORTAMIENTO FEMORAL Y ESCLEROSIS ACETABULAR en 2019. Estando en quirófano tuvo una crisis hipertensiva y no pudieron operarla. Por diversas circunstancias, entre ellas el COVID19, la operación fue aplazada y, 7 meses después, su seguro no sólo ya no cubre la operación, sino que no cubre ni un día de hospitalización, debido a las condiciones económicas de Venezuela y la devaluación de la moneda.
Necesita operarse lo antes posible o quedará imposibilitada para caminar, ya que el hueso de la cadera está en riesgo inminente de romperse.

Pilar was diagnosed with RIGHT COXO-FEMORAL SEVERE OSTEOARTHRITIS, FEMORAL SHORTENING AND ACETABULAR SCLEROSIS in 2019. When she was in surgery, she had a hypertensive crisis and she couldn’t have her surgery done. Due to various circumstances, including the COVID19, the surgery was postponed and, 7 months later, her insurance not only no longer covers the procedure, but neither does not cover a single day of hospitalization, due to the economic conditions of Venezuela and the devaluation of the currency. She needs the surgery as soon as possible or she will be unable to walk, as the hip bone is at imminent risk of rupturing.
