Reed’s Recovery
Donation protected
On October 1, 2019, Reed Ranaldi was a passenger in a vehicle that was involved in an accident in Berlin, NH.
Reed suffered a head injury and transported to Dartmouth Hitchcock Medical Center in Lebanon, NH. Not only was the drive over two hours long but it was extended due to having to stop at a satellite hospital as Reed’s brain was bleeding, swelling and pressure needed to be released.
The morning after being admitted, Reed went into surgery to remove the fractured portion of his skull, as a precaution in the event his brain continued to swell. Less than a week after the accident Reed has been awake, eating, drinking and even walking today. Reed is doing well but still has a long road of recovery ahead of him. Because he hit the left side of his head the right side of his body and his speech need rehabilitation.
Reed was uninsured and the family has lost wages due to hospital visits and traveling two hours for those visits.
Please consider assisting the family with this heavy burden during this difficult time.
