Reed's Cancer Battle

Hey everyone, my name is Jocelyn Parker, formally Jocelyn Phillips. My father is Reed Phillips, though many of you know him just as Reed or Coach Reed. Hell, some of you may just say "that guy with the booming voice". But regardless you are probably here because you know or have known the man, the myth, the legend.

Recently my father was diagnosed with Adenocarcinoma. It is an aggressive lung or esophageal cancer. In sort, its just a very aggressive cancer. To be frank, his PET scan came back and it looks hopeful that he can fight/beat this cancer to give him a few more years. However, we have to move fast in treating this cancer and the price for treatments are astronomical. In the best way possible, we need help. If you do actually know Reed, you know he would never ask for this kind of help. He is as stubborn as they come, and he would rather let a cancer kill him then be put in a hole financially from the treatment that he will need. I am doing everything in my ability to make sure finances are not the reason for my fathers premature department of this world.

I am setting up this gofundme in order to help pay down some of the medical bills we are expected to be receiving moving forward with his treatment. At this particular time, he knows nothing of this as he is not on social media and would preferI not tell anyone about his diagnosis. But! If you know me, which Id assume most do, you know I dont give up that easily nor do I allow something to be taken from me just because of money. So! With that being said, please, if you are able, consider donating to my fathers cancer care and treatment. I dont think the world is ready to loose someone like Reed.
