Reed/Martinez Home Fire Fund

On June 18th  just after midnight a fire started in the family room of Adele Reed's home. Kasie and her 2 sons share the home with Adele.  Antonio was awake in his bedroom and heard the smoke detector go off and saw flames from his door.  Kasie and Adele did not hear the alarm and Antonio woke them up saving their lives.  Gabe was at a sleepover.  Antonio was holding their pet puppy Riley and carried him to safety.  The family lost their beloved cat in the fire and are grieving.  All of them left the house differently and when Kasie got outside she couldn't see her mother or son and panicked.  She tried to go back into the house through the garage entry door and it wouldn't open.  She forced the door and and was caught in a backdraft and singed her hair.  She was engulfed in black soot and smoke.  She was taken to the hospital and released.  All of their belongings are lost.  They left with only pajamas on.  The house will need to be gutted and rebuilt.  They will be homeless for at least 5 months.  The fireman said he couldn't believe they made it out and if it had been another minute they would have died.  What a miracle!  Please help support as they have nothing.
