Reed Family Hurricane Relief

Hurricane Harvey has devastating our family, our neighborhood, and our friends. We currently have hip deep water standing in our house and no flood insurance. We were advised that we didn't need flood insurance, and therefore never purchased it. All 3 of our cars are currently under water as well. We were fortunate enough to escape our home by wading out in chest deep water with the assistance of a kind man with floatation devices who just came down on his weekend off from Austin to help save people. The expense of being displaced from our home much less rebuilding it will be crippling to our family. So many have offered to help, and at this time, monetary assistance will be the biggest help to us. We have to find a place to live while still making mortgage payments on our home too.
