Mount Kilimanjaro Trek
I am attempting to climb the highest free standing mountain in the world, Mount Kilimanjaro, in aid of Alzheimer's Scotland. This is a disease that effects so many people and families throughout the world, including mine. My inspiration for doing this challenge comes from my cousin, Craig Scott, who suffered from this disease and sadly passed away in 2018, aged 52. Craig also had Down syndrome and approximately 
50% or more of people with Down syndrome will develop Alzheimer's disease as they age. Witnessing first hand the effects this disease has on people, motivated me to do this challenge in order to raise money for this charity that will support families and provides services for them in their time of need.
