I am a bowler who happens to be totally blind. I have been bowling since 1991. In November of 2014 I was blessed to bowl my best game ever, a 220. Our bowling league is comprised of totally blind, partially sighted and fully sighted bowlers. The sighted bowler’s job is to let his or her teammates know which pins are left standing. The blind bowler uses a rail,

Which gives the bowler an idea of straight, in order to position themselves. Our season lasts thirty weeks. I am hoping to raise $800 to cover league dues, sanction fees and transportation.

This past season my team owned last place out of eight teams until week 28 when we hurdled into fifth place. We ended the season in fourth place.
