In October I was diagnosed with a type of Brain Tumor that needed to be removed fast because of its size and also because it was growing continuously.
Since the surgery would be very expensive in the States, I had my surgery in my hometown in Hungary late October. Everything was happening very fast, didn't have too much time to think things over, it was a huge shock for everybody. The doctor was talking about all kinds of side affects it was very scary with lots of crying.
My surgery went on for about 5 hours where they had to cut my skull open, but thank God and thanks to the doctors and assistants it went well with no complications.
I was in the ICU for 2 days when I had an epileptic seizure. Fortunately that is something that can be controlled with medication, but now I'm always afraid if its going to happen again and where.
After 10 days in the hospital, I was released to go home to start recovery. My biopsy results came back with good news so I was happy that I don't have to worry.
God is good
At the end of November, I got the OK to fly back to the US with the help of my son and also wheelchair assistance, to tell you the truth that was very convenient.
I was recovering fine, with occasional bumps here and there but I was ready to get back to work by March.
As a small business owner, running a food truck, March would be the start of the season after the winter months.
And Covid19 happened.
Now its been a month that offices and events are cancelling our bookings that means no income at all.
I never imagined that I will create a go fund me page, but with the hospital bills, travel costs and not be able to work, debts were piling up even before and it keeps coming.
I know that the current situation is not good for anybody, but I really don't want to lose my business.
