Help raise money for Roopa's recovery

My parents arrived in the US on August 11th, 2020 to help me with my second pregnancy. On September 9th, at around 1.00 AM CST, my mother Roopa (58 years) suffered a severe brain stroke, unable to move her left arm and left leg, and started vomiting. She was unable to speak properly. For four days she fought for her life in emergency/ICU. She is currently out of danger but doctors mentioned that she is left side paralyzed due to brain stroke, and this will be a life-changing moment and may not be able to move as before. She might end up in a wheelchair. She needs physiotherapy and speech therapy at least for the next 6 to 12 months with a 30-40% recovery chance. Doctors said air travel is not safe for her and she should get treated ASAP.

We are asking for your help to cover the costs of hospital stays, rehabilitation facilities, and 24/7 care of my mother as she transitions into a life that is different, but still her own.  Your support means the world to my mother and to all of us.

Doctors recommend physiotherapy and rehab that may help her regain body movement. It will be far more expensive than what we can afford. We are a family of four people, and my husband is the only earning member supporting 3 dependents. With growing concern, I asked about the treatment cost and when I got to know about it, I became desperate, worried, and anxious. I hope you will consider our request and will provide us the financial assistance we need.
