While visiting her father in a dementia care facility, choreographer Marissa Rae Niederhauser became curious about the correlations between Alzheimer’s Disease and General Relativity.

She is joined by composer Juniana Lanning and actor Daniel Shaw for a devised theater work contemplating the slippery qualities of time, the intangibility of self/relationships and the myth of memory amidst a tangle of chairs, record players, paper airplanes and unspooled cassette tapes.

Many of you know that we've been working as a group on this show for a year and a half, but I started working on it alone in 2020 during an Alembic Residency at Performance Works Northwest. I am so excited to work with these talented artists and to finally bring the fruits of our explorations to the larger world!

We are very lucky to receive co-production support from PWNW. Still, there are some costs unprovided for by this support.

Namely, artists' fees!
