RECONSTRUCTION OF CHANGAMWE BAPTIST SCHOOL
I have chosen to support this project as I firmly believe in children being the Future of tomorrow. School is the place where children not only achieve academic knowledge, but it is also an institution that builds characters, dreams, and aspirations.
The students at Changamwe Baptist are mainly orphans and from disadvantaged family backgrounds. Ms. Hannah Yugi, who is the headteacher, took it upon herself through her love for God and the desire to help the needy, to construct this establishment, which currently hosts children from the age of 2 years to 10. She also offers daycare and lunch meals for the children. She has a reliable teaching team that loves the children just as she does.
We are in need of funds to complete and reconstruct the buildings as the current ones are not in good condition. There are cases such as leaking during the rainy season, lack of insufficient water and minimal space for both staff and children. There is also a need for a dining hall where children can comfortably eat lunch.
Funds will be used as follows:
1. Build 4 more classrooms
2. Build a staff room
3. Build a new dining hall
4. Reconstruct and add another toilet
5. Create a reliable and sustainable running water system
May you give knowing that your funds are going towards an educational cause for the support of another child's future. No one would want nor be motivated to sit in a classroom that is leaking, uncomfortable or cramped.
