Recent PhD graduate begging for help

Donation protected
I graduated last week (on August 9th, 2019) with my PhD in Computer Science from the University of Houston.

I have published 4 papers during my PhD and have 2 more in submission. My CGPA during my PhD was 3.71. I have a postdoc offer from Georgetown University waiting for me since March this year (i.e., from 4-5 months even before I graduated).

Please see a copy of my résumé here.  You can find my dblp profile here.

I didn't mention the above to brag, but just to demonstrate that I'm usually not a "lazy moocher" or a "freeloader".

Having said that, I do need help at this point because right now I'm not legally allowed to work in the United States (since I've already graduated). I came here on an F-1 student visa and right now I'm waiting for my EAD card while my OPT application is processing. If you're in the academia, you're probably already aware of the long processing time of OPT applications these days. I'm expecting my EAD card to receive sometime in late November or in early December.

And I can't go home (India) and wait out this processing period either because then (as I've been advised by multiple school officials AND immigration lawyers) my reentry to the US in not guaranteed.

Under these circumstances, the only path open to me is to wait out this period in my current location, which is Houston, Texas. But living is expensive, as no doubt you're aware. So I'm looking for a little help from the academic community to see me through this tough period.

No amount is too small, no action is too insignificant. Even five dollars from you would mean a lot to me. Your kindness would buy my gratitude for the rest of my life. Not to mention that I'll be happy to collaborate with you on exciting research projects (if you happen to be a theoretical computer science researcher).

P.S. The amount I've mentioned in the title is THRICE the exact net pay (monthly) that I used to receive during my PhD, when I was employed at the university as a research assistant (and sometimes as a teaching assistant). My monthly net pay used to be $2061 and I'm expecting my EAD card to arrive by late November at the earliest, which means that I'll have to survive without a job for at least three months. Thus I'm trying to raise the amount equivalent to my 3 months' (PhD-time-) salary.
