Please help Frank & Carolyn Graves-Dixie Fire Loss
As the wild fires continue to rage through California, it is with heavy hearts that we share; on August 16, 2021 our parents have lost their home and everything they own to the Dixie Fire. When the evacuation orders came through, they left their home with each other, two cats and what belongings would fit in one car. At the ages of 86 and 80 years old respectively, they must start a lifetime over. Frank and Carolyn Graves have been members of the Janesville, California community for over 25 years. They moved there in 1996 and built their home to overlook Honey Lake. Frank is a veteran of the US Army and served our country with honor. After leaving the military he worked solely for James River paper company and retired after 35 years. Carolyn was self employed for over 40 years as a medical transcriptionist and supported many of the medical providers in Susanville as well as the Lassen Indian Health Center. She officially retired just two years ago. While no amount of money can replace what they have lost, we are raising funds for them to help get their feet back on the ground as they enter this next phase of life and try to figure out what's next following this tragedy. On behalf of all their children, Barbara, Sherri, Mona, Debbie, Charles, Helen and Dana, we appreciate any amount that you can give and honor you for your thoughtfulness.
