Rebuilding Hope: Support Nepal Fire Victims in Saptari
Beschermde donatie
On a fateful Tuesday, a massive inferno ravaged through Chimati in ward 1 of Mahadewa Rural Municipality, Saptari district, Nepal. Fueled mercilessly by winds, the flames consumed approximately 110 homes, leaving behind ashes and despair. Among the hardest-hit areas were Yadav Tole and Musahar Tole, where over 100 houses were reduced to rubble.
In the wake of this catastrophe, families are left with nothing but the clothes on their backs. Everything they've worked for, cherished belongings, and memories have been mercilessly swallowed by the flames. Their plight is heart-wrenching, their need for support urgent.
In solidarity with the affected families, the Association of Nepal Terai in Australia (ANTA) and NRNA Australia have joined hands to extend a lifeline. We're committed to aiding those grappling with the aftermath of this disaster. Together, we aim to restore hope, and offer a semblance of normalcy to those whose lives have been upended.
