Rebuilding for Carolina

Family and Friends, 

We have an urgent need. Saturday afternoon I received a call from Gerald who had received a call from his family that his family’s house completely burned down. We are completely devastated for our family, especially since this house was also the center of the ministry taking place in Quinta Isabel. We don’t have much information at this point except that they lost everything. Gerald was safely in Costa Rica but is heading back to Nicaragua to meet with his mom to see more exactly how we can help, so please be praying for his safety for the next week or so. We do know, however, that Carolina and the kids, Jordan, Marshaling and Kelly, have some pretty immediate needs that we would like to start helping them with until we know how much it will actually take to rebuild their house. Many of you know what is happening in Nicaragua and this has caused major problems for people financially. Carolina was already living day to day and sometimes not having enough for food for the family, so they definitely don’t have the finances to completely start over. We wanted to share with those of you who have followed and invested in us over the years and ask first of all for prayer and secondly for financial help. Not only is Carolina family, but she has been such a huge part of what God is doing in the community. If you would like to give towards helping Carolina, please give here.
