Rebuild Whitfield Park from Flood Damage

Tax deductible
As the storms rolled thru Nashville last weekend the fields at Whitfield Park used by both the Crieve Hall Girls Softball and Crieve Hall Baseball programs suffered major damage under 4 feet of water. The power of the flood moved the concession trailer 25 yards and placed it on top of bleachers. The water caused severe damage to the all the playing surfaces including the brand new baseball field that was completed weeks before at a cost of $30k.

The leagues are run by volunteers and have been sustained this way since their founding in 1964. Even today just days after the flood we have volunteers working to start the process of cleaning the debris.

But we can't do it alone. The estimated cost to repair what was damaged is right at $30k for the cleanup, dirt and tuff repairs/replacement, batting cage rebuilding, repair/replacement of our golf cart used to maintain the fields as well as scoreboards that are now not usable.
